Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE MAY ROBERTS It is with heavy hearts that the family of Alice Roberts (nee Inglott) announces her peaceful passing, Monday, September 7, 2009 at the age of 92 years at the Deer Lodge Centre with husband Joe at her side. Alice is survived by her devoted husband Joe, sister Daisy, nephews Victor and Leonard, stepchildren, Joanne (Vern), Jim (Dawn) and Jack (Noelle). Alice also enjoyed her nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Alice was born in Winnipeg on May 23, 1917. In her younger years, Alice owned and operated Linda's Hair Salons. Upon retiring and marrying Joe, they took up the game of golf. They spent many happy days at the Crescent Drive Golf Course making many good friends. One of Alice's happiest days was her hole in one . Alice was a devoted Blue Bombers fan and followed every game and player. She was also a whiz at crossword puzzles and a graceful butterfly on the dance floor. Alice was predeceased by her parents, infant child, brother Victor, sister Mary and first husband Bill Linda. A celebration of her life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. Donations, in lieu of flowers can be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. The family would like to sincerely thank Barbara and John, Terry, the neighbours, the staff at Deer Lodge Centre and the devoted Home Care people. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
